Small Hydro Projects An estimated potential of about 15,000 MW of small hydro power projects exists in India. Wind Projects Potential for wind power generation for grid interaction has been estimated at about 48,500 MW taking sites having wind power density greater than 250/W sq. m at 50 m hub-height with 3% land availability in potential areas for setting up wind farms @12 ha/MW. in ref to: http://mnes.nic.in/wpp.htm Redeem power is in the final process of submitting applications for small wind farms of up to 5MW, in Pollachi district of Tamilnadu, dholpur district of Rajstan, and dewas in MP. We have plans to start few wind monitoring centers in Himachal Pradesh, once the state government formulate the wind power policy for IPP. |
